"Very enjoyable"
5 of 5
If you want a great place to stay, whether relaxing or wanting to explore, I would highly recommend Jackson Hole Resort. They give you great information on many things to do. Offer a home like place to stay, for similar prices as hotels. Enjoyed immensely my stay.
Thank you for the nice feedback Dawn. We were happy to host you and would love to do it again next time!

"The location is just perfect "
5 of 5
The location is just perfect right there at Teton Village without paying the high prices of the hotels of the area. You will be minutes away of Jackson Hole, Grand Tetons National Park and a few hours from Yellowstone.
We were happy to host you Juan! Thanks for the feedback, and please come back and stay any time.

"Not a Resort style location"
2 of 5
This was our fourth trip to Jackson Hole. Usually, we come with my sister Cathy Felton who makes the reservations. We made our own this time as her son, my nephew, Alex Felton who works at the resort was getting married. We booked a two bedroom, not looking for a cheap price but a resort style location. This was assumed based on the other locations we have stayed at. This unit was a poor to average "apartment". It was not something I would rent to other. There were no closet doors. The owners property was stored in them. The bathrooms were tiny and dated. The electrical switches, especially the main bathroom were sketchy. The dining room overhead light hadn't been cleaned of dead bugs in years. There was no deck to enjoy the fresh air. This is not what I would expect for a ski resort location for anyone not looking for the "cheap" stay.

"Quiet with nice views"

This is a review of both Tensleep A2 and Gros Ventre A12. We made a three-night reservation online through Hotels.com for a deluxe condominium in the Gros Ventre building in Teton Village (at the base of the Jackson Hole ski area). Due to some sort of break in communication in an intermediary between Hotels.com and Jackson Hole Resort Lodging (JHRL), JHRL had not received our reservation and had to scramble to find an available condominium for us when we arrived. The Gros Ventre deluxe condominium that we had rented (A12) would have been available, but it had not been cleaned after the previous occupants, so we spent our first night in a similar (but standard-rated rather than deluxe) condominium in the adjacent Tensleep unit (A2). The following morning, we checked-out of A2, and that evening we moved into Gros Ventre A12 for the following two nights. Tensleep A2 is on the ground floor (a few steps up, then a few steps down), with its windows facing the parking lot. It has two bedrooms, one with a queen-sized bed (relatively squeaky, as pointed out by previous reviewers) and a window toward the parking lot, and the other with a bunk bed and no window. The bathroom is nice and roomy (bathtub with shower, sink with good counter space, toilet). The kitchen is nice and functional, with everything you need for cooking. The living room has a wood floor, while the bedrooms have carpet (with some stains in the main bedroom). Although the unit is nice overall, it has neighbors on both sides and above, and the noise carries to some extent through the walls and ceiling. Due to the ground floor location, headlights from cars in the parking lot can shine into the main bedroom. Gros Ventre A12 is rated deluxe; its corner location on the top floor facing the valley makes it more private, and it has nice views to the east. Access is a little harder something to keep in mind if you have a lot of luggage to carry up the stairs. In terms of size and layout, it is very similar to Tensleep A2, but there is a wall separating the living room from the bathrooms, creating a hallway to the bedrooms. Instead of one larger bathroom, there is one full bath (bathtub with shower, small sink and a toilet), and one half bath (small sink, toilet, washer and dryer). The main bedroom in the corner has no shared walls with other condominiums, and has windows to the east. A previous reviewer thought the mattress was too firm, but that has evidently been remedied with an additional foam topper, and we found the bed to be quite comfortable. The other bedroom has two twin beds and a small window. As in Tensleep A2, the furnishings are clean and in good shape. Not everything about Gros Ventre A12 is impeccable, however. The kitchen counter is made of large travertine tiles with occasional irregularities. There are a few cracks in the kitchen floor tiles and some in the bathrooms; the rest of the condominium has a brown carpet. The inner shower curtain had not been washed for some time and was a bit slimy and off-color toward the bottom. The shower has separate hot and cold valves, with one being non-intuitive (clockwise is open for one, closed for the other), and the hot valve gradually expands and closes as it heats up, necessitating frequent adjustments to maintain the desired temperature. As in Tensleep A2, the bathroom sinks are very low (great for kids, not so great for adults, especially those with bad backs). That said, those problems are minor, and both Tensleep A2 and Gros Ventre A12 may be good choices for many travelers in terms of both the convenience of a full kitchen and the cost (we stayed during one of the least-expensive times of the year, so the price did not seem completely outrageous). If sunlight, views and privacy are important to you, then the somewhat more expensive Gros Ventre A12 may be a good choice. If easy access from your car and lower price is important, then Tensleep A2 may be the better choice. If, like us, you do not get contacted by JHRL with a booking confirmation before your arrival, you may need to check to make sure that they really have your reservation. Also, make sure you know the location of their office as well as their office hours for check-in and check-out (the Teton Village is about half a mile from the Gros Ventre and Tensleep units). Fortunately, the staff at the JHRL office was friendly, helpful and efficient, making our reservation ordeal more bearable.

"Teton village condo"
4 of 5
Except for the fact that the condo was on the third floor, it was roomy, clean and comfortable. One morning, as we were leaving the condo to catch a wildlife tour, there was a large bull moose feeding just 35 yards off the back deck. It was our closest moose sighting of the trip.

"nice and cosy"
3 of 5
Had a good stay at Teton village this condo is nice and clean and has everything u need for a longer duration stay but has the most uncomfortable beds u will sleep on especially after a big day skiing. Great kitchen comfy lounge and wi-fi was good. It has easy lock up ski storage at the front and heaps of fire wood for the combustible fire. there is a sign out the front that says to use the back access to your condo which is down a hill and up 4 flights of steep stairs and when icy this path is very slippery. as for the walk to the lifts its about 5 minutes or so which is good to warm up the legs in the morning. Of an arvo u could ski to the corner of the upper car park and walk about 400m. The other option is the bus which runs every 15 minutes of a morning and every 30 minutes of an arvo but make sure u wait up the top of the hill at the condo otherwise they won't stop as it gets to icy and can't get going again. the town of Jackson is a 30 minute bus trip from the tetton village. the least thing i liked about jackson hole mountain resort is that it is not a very user friendly resort when there is no fresh snow just to warn u there is only a few groomed runs and they are usually chopped up before any of the paying customers get a chance to ride them.
Thank you for your feedback and taking the time to review Gros Ventre A12. There are a few areas we could improve but overall it looks like you had a great time. We have passed along your feedback to the Homeowners Association and Alltrans Shuttle Bus so we can all continue to improve. We hope to have you back and would love to walk you though all of what we have to offer.
Sincerely,
JHRL Staff

"Perfect for what we needed"
4 of 5
The place was clean and well maintained. Having WiFi a Washer/Dryer in the unit and was a huge plus. The walk to the lifts / village was just a few minutes (bring a flashlight if heading out at night). Only negative was the pool/hottub complex was down the road which was more of a hassle than it was worth.

"Very nice unit that met our needs and provided a good 'home' bas"
4 of 5
We were given this unit as an upgrade after original rental was in use by the owner. Very clean, nicely furnished unit with washer and dryer. Kitchen was very nice, although certainly not designed for two people to work in at the same time. It was great having the extra half bath. The mattresses were hard as a rock and difficult to sleep on. That is a personal observation and I know can vary substantially from person to person. For my back, the mattress was far too hard. Also, it was quite warm while we were there and there was no a/C in the unit. One of the bedrooms had a ceiling fan, but the other did not. Additional fans would have been helpful. It was nice to be able to come 'home' after a day of hiking. Being able to fix our meals made the trip much more affordable. A crock pot was provided, so our dinner was ready for us each day when we returned. Kitchen had modern, updated appliances. Stove was electric and not gas.As unit is on the third floor and there is no elevator, I would not recommend to anyone who has mobility issues. It was nice not to have anyone above us though. Unit is on the end of the building, so there was only one shared wall.Teton Village is located about 12 miles from Jackson, closest source of grocery stores.

"Central Reservations took care of everything at a great value"
5 of 5
Trying to put together our own ski vacation was laborious and a major hassle. We were losing our enthusiasm for the trip when we decided to contact Jackson Hole Central Reservations. They put together a wonderful, all inclusive ski package which included air, rental car, condo and lift tickets into one, very affordable package! The condo was nothing fancy, but was perfectly suitable and comfortable for two couples. This was my fourth time to Jackson Hole, and probably the best thanks to the ease of booking and price.
Hello Deborah,
