3.15.25 Update
Today's races have been canceled due to heavy snow. Instead, we are hosting a dual format GS race on Sunday, March 16.
Thank you all for being so flexible with us during this storm cycle! Racer safety and hill conditions have led all of our decisions.
Tomorrow we are running a dual format GS on Moran face. The race is accessible from Teewinot → Apres Vous.
Every racer will do a red course and a blue course for each category they are registered in. Your result will be the combined time of both courses. Team results will be the combined time of the four team members' final times.
We will hand out new bibs tomorrow morning from the Olympic Room starting at 7:30am.
We will have the same great prizes for all community, junior, and Team results.
All top three in each category will receive beef from Hereford Ranch and Prizes. We will have fun tunes and beer from Snake River Brewing so stick around for the awards ceremony at 3pm outside the Events Tent.

The Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club has been hosting one of the few (if not the last!) open, non-sanctioned community downhill races since 1982. The JH Downhill hosts skiers and snowboarders ages 12 and up, as well as current and former World Cup racers.

There are five divisions of Community Races: Pro, Amateur, Junior, Snowboard, Telemark, and “Fat & Baggy,” where a racer’s clothes must flap in the wind and their skis must be at least 86mm underfoot. Participants can compete in up to three races, the Pro race (which takes place on Sunday) and up to two of the other four divisions (which take place on Saturday). The Downhill culminates on Sunday with the Pro Race, which includes a high-stakes team component.
All proceeds from the Downhill support JHSC’s exceptional programming and provide opportunities for over 500 local student-athletes. More details on JH Ski Club's Website
