The 11th annual Wyoming Snow and Avalanche workshop will be held on November 14-15 at the Center for the Arts. The two days will consist of a half-day Pro Workshop on Friday and a full-day General Session on Saturday. WYSAW 2025 will continue to analyze risk management in the winter backcountry with presentations on resource management, operating in regions without avalanche bulletins, sense making, and updates on efforts to improve public information. Researchers, guides, educators, and forecasters will share their knowledge and discuss how we can better mitigate risk when operating in and around avalanche terrain.
